Engr. Arnilo C. Milaor, CMC Resident Mine Manager, opened the program with encouragement to the CMC WIM to be strong during the time of pandemic, in consonance with the year's theme "Juana Laban sa Pandemya: Kaya!"
“As the CMC faces the battle to fight COVID-19 pandemic since we hit it in the mine site. We are obligated to all employees may it be women or not, our employees is our concern as we work as one,” said Milaor.
Rudilyn Velasco, CMC ComRel Manager and Vice President of WIM organization, also pointed out that every women is born a natural leader, may it be in a household or in the workplace.
“Women are empowered in CMC, and we encourage everyone to participate to all CMC WIM activities,” said Velasco.
WIM President Aeleen Pearl Caringal extended her message to all women to work as one against the challenges as she recognized all the officers of CMC WIM for their effort in promoting gender equality in the workplace.
