The first ever Saranggola “Burador” Youth Festival in Dinapigue was a success as it was supported and participated by the stakeholders.
The Burador Festival was organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan in partnership with the Local Youth Development Council and the Local Government of Dinapigue. Dinapigue Mining Corporation (DMC) also supported the event.
Jojit Araña, president of the Sangguniang Kabataan, said prior the flying contest, the kites were first displayed at the Municipal Evacuation Center for public viewing.
The participating kites were judged in three categories - Most Creative Burador, Biggest Burador and Highest Flown Burador.
