Hinatuan Mining Corp. (HMC) joined the observance of Earth Hour 2021.
The Earth Hour is a worldwide movement uniting people to increase awareness and spark global conversations on protecting nature and combatting climate change.
With this year’s theme, “Climate Change to Save Earth,” HMC joined the world in switching-off non-essential electric lights from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. in support of initiatives to combat climate change.
It was also accompanied by the lighting of 53 paper bag lanterns as a symbolic gesture and commitment to our planet.
Moreover, to make this event more enlightening and exciting, the company prepared a short IEC program, fun games, prizes and free snacks to all participants.
