Hinatuan Mining Corp. (HMC) Safety and Health Team and Emergency Response Team (ERT) spearheaded the 1st Quarter simultaneous emergency drill (fire, oil and chemical spill, and first aid) in coordination with the Fire Fighting Team, Oil and Chemical spill team, and First Aid team.
The activity is in line with the company's Safety and Health program, Integrated Management System (IMS) and RA 9514 otherwise known as the Fire Code of the Philippines.
The objectives of the activity are to exercise and ensure that planned emergency response procedures are followed in the event of actual emergency situation, continually improve the Emergency Response Program (ERP), and adhere compliance on safety and health legal aspects.
