The Municipal government of Bataraza in Palawan has awarded Rio Tuba Nickel Mining Corporation (RTNMC) as the No. 1 contributor in 2023 Real Property Tax (RPT).
The local government highly recognized the significant contributions and roles played by the mining company in the growth and development of the municipality.
The recognition was given by Mayor Hj. Abraham M. Ibba during the opening of the town's 59th founding anniversary.
Coral Bay Nickel Corporation (CBNC), Rusi Motorcycle, Japan Gas Corpholding Corporation (JGC) and Batarasa Consolidated, Inc. (BCI) completed the list of the top five RPT taxpayers.
Bataraza, a first class municipality with more than 90,000 population is the host municipality of RTNMC. Since then, its public-private partnership commitment has paved the way for the realization of numerous community development initiatives in town.
