Taganito Mining Corporation (TMC) celebrated Earth Day on April 22 by reaffirming its commitment to environmental stewardship through active participation in initiatives aimed at protecting and preserving the planet.
This year’s theme, “PLASTIKALIKASAN: Mining Communities Clean-up Program,” guided TMC’s involvement in the Earth Day celebration organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region 13 (DENR-MGB-13).
The day after the official Earth Day celebration, TMC took the lead in organizing a coastal clean-up activity in Purok 5, Barangay Taganito.
This initiative brought together employees, residents, and volunteers who united to clear debris and waste from the shoreline, showcasing a collective effort to enhance the beauty and health of their environment.
Through these initiatives, TMC not only demonstrated its unwavering dedication to responsible environmental management but also highlighted the importance of community engagement in sustainable development.
The company’s efforts emphasize that collective action is vital for safeguarding natural resources and ensuring a cleaner, greener future for generations to come.
