In a significant step toward environmental stewardship, Taganito Mining Corporation (TMC) hosted an intensive two-day Deputation Training from April 25 to 26, 2024, aimed at aspiring and renewing Deputized Environment and Natural Resources Officers (DENROs).

Conducted by the Enforcement Division of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region 13 (DENR-13), the training offered participants a comprehensive overview of Environmental and Natural Resources Laws, Rules, and Regulations.

The training equipped attendees with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve as effective guardians of the forest within the company's Mining Production Sharing Agreement (MPSA) areas and beyond.

Participants engaged in interactive sessions that emphasized the critical role of DENROs in protecting the environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting sustainable practices.

TMC’s commitment to developing knowledgeable and responsible DENROs reflects its broader mission of environmental stewardship and sustainability. By empowering these individuals, TMC not only strengthens its own environmental initiatives but also fosters a culture of responsibility and care for the natural resources that are vital to the community and the planet.
