TMC supports Claver, LASICAM graduation rites

It’s graduation season once again and as part of Taganito Mining Corporation’s (TMC) continuing commitment to the education sector, it extended its support to elementary and high schools within Claver and in the Lahi - Sico-sico - Camam-onan (LASICAM) area.

As part of its Information, Education and Communication (IEC) program, TMC, last March 29 to April 1, gave out sets of academic excellence and leadership award medals on top of the financial assistance extended to the schools’ conduct of their graduation and completion ceremonies.

The medals were awarded to the schools’ well performing students to reward them of their hard work throughout the 10 months of burning midnight candles (and eyebrows at the same time).

The schools’ gratitude to the company was evident throughout the barangays.

While no plaque or certificate could top the radiant smiles of the graduates and completers, the schools administrators nonetheless offered their plaques of appreciation, tokens and the honor of giving warm handshakes to the proud parents and students.

“It is our fervent honor and gratitude to be graced with the presence of our guest from Taganito Mining Corporation (TMC) ably represented by the community relations officers in attendance in this remarkable day of our school, for our closing exercises of school year 2015-2016,” said Concordio G. Cubelo, Jr., school principal of the far-flung LASICAM-Perral National High School.

Mr. Cubelo added: “They have been with us in our educational endeavors particularly in the provision of school facilities and quali- ty learning by providing educational assis- tance to our school.”
