In a significant boost to healthcare in the municipality of Bataraza, Palawan, Rio Tuba Nickel Mining Corporation (RTNMC) has turned over a ₱3.8 million subsidy to the Municipal Government aimed at enhancing the services of the Bataraza District Hospital (BDH).

This generous contribution marks a pivotal step toward improving medical equipment, staffing, and basic health services for the local community.

The partnership formalized through a memorandum of agreement among the Provincial Government, the Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) of Bataraza, BDH, RTNMC, and the Coral Bay Nickel Corporation (CBNC), underscores a collective commitment to better health outcomes for residents.

This funding is part of RTNMC's Annual 2024 Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), which emphasizes the company’s dedication to corporate social responsibility and community development.

The initiative not only reflects RTNMC's ongoing commitment to the welfare of the community but also fosters a collaborative approach to public health improvement in the region.
