In a significant step towards enhancing community health and wellness, Taganito Mining Corporation (TMC), an operating company of Nickel Asia Corporation (NAC), has partnered with Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation to construct the Claver Community Hospital, a project valued at P130 million.

The historic groundbreaking ceremony and memorandum of agreement (MOA) signing took place on May 16, drawing attention from local leaders and community members alike.

The event was attended by notable figures, including Governor Robert Lyndon S. Barbers, Vice Governor Eddie Gokiangkee Jr., and Claver Mayor Georgia Gokiangkee. Their presence underscored the collaborative spirit of this initiative, aimed at improving healthcare access for residents of Claver and surrounding areas.

Also present were TMC Vice President for Resource Management Artemio Valeroso, THPAL President Shiro Imai, and Deputy Plant Manager Tatsuya Kano, along with Ms. Bernadette Barbers, representing Congressman Robert Ace S. Barbers.

The Claver Community Hospital is expected to be a cornerstone of healthcare in the region, providing essential medical services and promoting overall wellness.

This partnership not only highlights the commitment of both companies to corporate social responsibility but also reflects a shared vision for a healthier community.
