CMC allocates funds for COVID 19 Vaxx

Cagdianao Mining Corporation signed a Memorandum of Agreement Signing with the Cagdianao and Libjo municipalities, Province of Dinagat Islands, for the COVID-19 Vaccination Program on October 7, 2021.

CMC has allocated funds from its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) intended for COVID-19 vaccination of residents in the host and neighboring communities.

This initiative has full support of Cagdianao Mayor Adolfo E. Longos and Libjo Mayor Lamberto Llamera, Jr.

Engr. Christian Gascon, CMC-OIC Resident Mine Manager said that CMC is very proud and happy to be part of this endeavor to combat COVID-19 and help the people in the communities get vaccinated.

He expressed hope to end this pandemic with the support of the LGUs especially our mining community. CMC is ready to help in any way for the development of the Libjo and Cagdianao through its SDMP funds.

Adolfo E. Longos, Municipal Mayor of Cagdianao extend its gratitude to CMC thru SDMP funds for allocating budget intended for Cagdianao residents.

“This will help end the pandemic and crisis,” said Mayor Longos adding that the Barangays Boa and Valencia are champions in Dinagat Islands for attaining the 70% and 69%, consecutively for its total vaccinated population.

Libjo Mayor Lamberto Llamera, Jr, is also thankful to CMC for extending its help to procure more vaccines.

“I am proud that Libjo is third of the highest number of vaccinated in the entire CARAGA region for A2 classification (seniors and with comorbidities,” said Mayor Llamera..
