Cagdianao Mining Corporation (CMC) held its first-ever Grand Reunion for the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) Scholar Graduates last Dec. 13 to 14 at the Barangay Valencia Gymnasium.
The program, which began in 2009, has already produced 61 graduates. They celebrated the occasion with the theme "Strengthening Lifetime Partnership and Building Resiliency Amidst Challenging Situations.”
"I am proud to see you all that are now successful in your respective fields - some are working in CMC, some are serving the government, medical frontliners, some are even working abroad. Your successes and achievements are also the success of our beloved company -- CMC," said Engr. Christian Jae Gascon, Resident Mine Manager.
Gascon took great pride in seeing these graduates as they continue to give back to their families and communities while uplifting their quality of life as they "conquer the world equipped with vigor, passion, and perseverance."
Pushing the NAC initiative of stewardship, these SDMP scholar graduates and CMC employees also conducted a Career Guidance Orientation for the graduating students at Valencia National High School to guide and prepare them for their future careers.
