TAGUIG CITY – December 16, 2024 – Emerging Power Inc. (EPI) subsidiary JSI was awarded the Titanium Corporate Safety and Health Award by the Safety and Health Association of the Philippines in Energy Sector, Inc. (SHAPES) and the Department of Energy (DOE) during the 19th Energy and Safety Conference held in celebration of National Energy Consciousness Month at Meralco (Lopez) Building, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City.

The award celebrates JSI’s achievement of maintaining a total of eight years without lost-time incidents, underscoring the company’s commitment to best safety and health practices and the welfare of its employees.

JSI has a total of 6,715,916 hours without accident and with total of six (6) corporate safety and health excellence awards since the start of its operations in 2016.

Additionally, JSI Safety and Health Supervisor Arman Zingapan was given the Outstanding Safety and Health Excellence Professional Titanium Award for upholding the highest standard of workplace health and safety practices.

JSI operates the 172-megawatt solar farm in Subic, Zambales which has just completed its fourth phase of expansion.
