Hinatuan Mining Corporation (HMC) is making a meaningful impact in its host communities by providing essential health support for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
In a recent initiative, HMC representatives distributed quarterly health provisions to benefit 227 senior citizens and 59 PWDs in Barangay Talavera, Sitio Bagong Silang, and Sitio Campandan.
This health program is funded by the 2024 Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) of HMC, an operating company of Nickel Asia Corporation (NAC), which reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to uplifting the lives of residents.
By addressing the unique health needs of these vulnerable groups, HMC aims to promote their well-being and enhance their quality of life.
The initiative underscores HMC’s dedication to social responsibility and community engagement. By prioritizing the health of senior citizens and PWDs, the company is not only providing vital resources but also fostering a sense of inclusivity and support within the community.
As HMC continues to implement programs that focus on health and wellness, it reinforces its role as a responsible corporate citizen. Through these efforts, the corporation is building stronger, healthier communities that can thrive together.
