Hinatuan Mining Corporation is making significant strides in community support by providing crucial health programs tailored for Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Barangay Talavera.

This outreach extends to the remote areas of Sitio Bagong Silang and Sitio Campandan, reflecting the company's commitment to holistic community development.

Every quarter, representatives from Hinatuan Mining distribute essential health provisions to 227 senior citizens and 59 PWDs.

These provisions, which include medications, nutritional supplements, and healthcare supplies, are part of a broader effort funded by the company's Social Development and Management Program (SDMP). This program aims to uplift the quality of life for residents in the mining company's host communities.

"We understand the unique challenges faced by our senior citizens and PWDs, especially in more isolated areas," said Engr. Francisco J. Arañes, Jr., HMC Resident Mine Manager.

"Through these health programs, we strive not only to meet immediate health needs but also to foster a sense of care and inclusion," he added.

The quarterly distributions have become a lifeline for many residents, offering consistent and dependable support.

As the program continues, Hinatuan Mining Corporation hopes to build stronger, healthier communities by addressing the critical health needs of some of its most vulnerable members.
