Hinatuan Mining Corp. (HMC) in partnership with the Municipality of Tagana-an, through its Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), conducted a river clean-up to its adopted Tagana-an River last March 25.
MENRO head Karen M. Chato expressed her gratitude for HMC’s undying support to preserve its adopted river, making it safer and healthier for wildlife and all Tagana-anons.
“Maintaining the cleanliness and the quality of water is our gift for the future generations,” said Chato.
HMC assured the public that it goes beyond compliance in mining responsibly and sustainably.
