In its mission to foster a love for science among the youth, ScienceKonek embarked on a transformative journey to Rio Tuba, Palawan, where it unveiled a world of wonder and discovery for eager young minds.

Youth engagement has been an integral part of ScienceKonek's initiatives across the country. With its pilot visit to Palawan, of course, there's a gift of experience for the students.

Amidst Rio Tuba's lush greenery, ScienceKonek officers embarked on an inspiring tour, laying the foundation for an enriching experience for students at the Leonides S. Virata Memorial School(LSVMS).

Focused primarily on engaging members of the school's Youth for Environment in Schools (YES-O), ScienceKonek orchestrated an enlightening hour-long discussion on the Earth and Space, captivating students with the mysteries of the universe.

Led by the esteemed Head of Space, Kuya William Kevin Abran, the discussion delved into various astronomical concepts, inviting students to ponder the marvels of the night sky and beyond.

As questions soared and curiosity flourished, Abran's expertise illuminated the minds of students, igniting a newfound appreciation for the wonders of the cosmos.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and enthusiastic engagement, ScienceKonek officers presented rock and mineral samples, along with map infographics, to club officers and faculty members.

Founder Ralph Abainza reaffirmed the organization's commitment to further engagement with the YES-O, announcing plans to donate a rock and mineral set for use in Earth Science classes, further enriching students' scientific exploration.

Following the enlightening discussion, excitement soared as the group ventured into the field for a telescope viewing session open to the entire community.

From students to faculty members and community residents of all ages, eager eyes lined up to peer through ScienceKonek's Celestron telescope, witnessing the breathtaking beauty of planets Jupiter and Saturn, along with their moons, in stunning detail.

For many, this marked a milestone moment, as they beheld these celestial wonders up close for the first time, bridging the gap between classroom lessons and real-world observation.

This immersive experience epitomizes ScienceKonek's unwavering commitment to connecting science with communities, especially among the youth.

By nurturing curiosity and fostering a passion for science and technology, ScienceKonek aims to empower the next generation of innovators and thinkers, instilling a profound love for country and curiosity for the world beyond.
