THE Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Regional Office 13 has commended Hinatuan Mining Corp. (HMC) as its Environmental Partner for Calendar Year 2022.
The Certificate of Commendation received by HMC, a subsidiary of Nickel Asia Corp. (NAC),from MGB RO13 is a testament that it has achieved the highest standards for responsible and sustainable development of the country’s natural resources.
The MGB also recognized the mining firm’s excellence efforts in its mining operations being a consistent awardee of the Presidential Mineral Industry Environmental Awards (PMIEA).
It also acknowledged HMC for its excellent implementation of the safety, health, environment,and social development programs during its mining operations.
