Cagdianao Mining Corporation (CMC) participates in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Angat Buhay sa Kalikasang Buhay Village in Brgy. Boa, Cagdianao.
Initiated by the provincial government headed by Gov. Arlene 'Kaka' Bag-ao, the housing project benefits 300 families that lost their homes to typhoon Odette that struck on Dec. 16 last year.
One of the project's partners, which include several NGOs and the local government unit of Cagdianao, is CMC, which is tasked to allocate P2.3 million from its 2022 Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) for the relocation site's land preparation.
During the ceremony, Chairperson Divine Espanto Eupeña of Brgy. Boa, one of Odette's badly-hit barangays, acknowledged CMC for its immediate response, helping in the search and rescue and providing crucial relief aid.
