Employees of Nickel Asia Corporation (NAC) with their family and friends, together with the company’s forever supporters and generous donors once again pooled together personal resources for a Personal Social Responsibility (PSR) program.
The latest PSR program was the building of its first “green library” for the children who lost every possession to typhoon Odette, in Boa, Barangay Cagdianao, Dinagat Islands.
The PSR program started four years ago with ‘Lapis at Papel’ in Dinapigue, Malimono and Manicani.
It also initiated the following projects:
- Kaldero para sa biktima ng Taal
- Kumot para sa Buso-Buso
- Saging at itlog para sa medical staff ng mga ospital - “Virus ka lang, NAC Kami”
- Care package for the guards, utilities, and drivers of the NAC Tower during pandemic
- Care package for the orphaned and abandoned children in Tulay ng Kabataan in Quezon City
- Daycare chairs for Dinapigue
- Crackers, peanut butter and toys, after the typhoon, for the children of Isabela
- Books, books, books for Manicani, for Campandan, and for Narra
- Lipsticks for the Nanays of Manicani
