RTNMC supports blended learning in Rio Tuba

RTNMC, a subsidiary of Nickel Asia Corp. (NAC), partnered with the Local Government Unit of Barangay Rio Tuba to purchase school supplies amounting to P129,624.

RTNMC community development organizer Jenny Dela Vega said that the original project was intended for school supplies of hundreds of students but was reprogrammed in response to augment the need for modules production.

Barangay Rio Tuba in leadership of Barangay Captain Nelson D. Acob also gave its counterpart to purchase more supplies to cover blended learning needs in five schools.

The budget allotment for the assistance of RTNMC came from the funds of the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) – under Access to Educational programs allocated for Barangay Rio Tuba, which is one of the 11 impact barangays of the mining operation.

RTNMC also continues its scholarship program to more than 300 scholars from primary to college levels through regular release of monthly allowances.
