In a poignant display of solidarity, Nickel Asia Corp. (NAC) offered support to the families affected by the tragic Masara landslide incident in Maco, Davao de Oro last February 6.

Through its Operating Companies (OpCos)--Taganito Mining Corporation (TMC), Hinatuan Mining Corporation (HMC), and Cagdianao Mining Corporation (CMC), NAC donated relief goods to the families of landslide victims.

Officials and representatives of these OpCos met with Davao de Oro Governor Dorothy Montejo-Gonzaga and Congressman Ruwel Peter Gonzaga to donate the relief goods.

A convoy of goodwill arrived on February 12, bearing 1,457 packs of relief goods destined for the Resource Center at Nuevo Iloco High School in Mawab town.

Each package, meticulously curated, contains essential provisions and school supplies, aiming to alleviate the burdens faced by the affected families and provide a semblance of normalcy amidst adversity.

The actions of NAC, alongside the outpouring of support from various agencies, organizations, and volunteers in recent days, stand as a testament to the compassion and kindness inherent in the Filipino spirit.
