After a challenging year marked by a pandemic, storms, floods and even day-to-day needs, Taganito Mining Corporation (TMC continued with its annual tradition of giving thanks to its more than 800 partner-stakeholders who stood by its side in delivering support and development programs to its communities.
While its annual Stakeholders’ Year-end Party did not push through this year, TMC, a subsidiary of Nickel Asia Corporation (NAC), realigned its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Program budgets for the event to distribute Pamaskong Handog (Christmas Giving) to its various stakeholders from its host and neighboring communities.
Over 800 gift sets containing a spaghetti package and kitchenware were prepared for the beneficiaries, which included community workers, people's organizations, church leaders, teachers, health personnel, local government unit officials and employees, media partners, partner agencies and other stakeholders.
The recipients were quick to express their appreciation for the gifts they received.
Marivic H. Abalo, a community nurse, expressed her gratitude to TMC for the gift.
“Thank you very much TMC for this Pamaskong Handog, thank you for sharing your blessings. More power. God bless,” said Abalo.
Antonia V. Ranza, Cagdianao Forest Seedlings and Pineapple Association president, said they really appreciate the Pamaskong Handog given by TMC to the community.
“Isip usa ka nangulo uban sa akong mga miyembro sa Cagdianao Forest Seedlings and Pineapple Association (CAFSPIA), kami nagpaabot sa kinasingkasing na pasalamat sa Taganito Mining Corporation sa panghatag kanamo ug Pamaskong Handog. Salamat sa inyong makanunayong suporta,” said Ranza.
