Taganito Mining Corporation (TMC) joined the country in the observance of the National Fire Prevention Month with the theme, "Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa."
Truly, TMC's host and neighboring communities have not been alone in responding to, and preventing fire incidents as manifested by the assistance extended by the company’s fire brigade through the years.
To formally kick off the observance of the Fire Prevention Month 2021, the Central Fire Station of Claver town held a motorcade, participated by various sectors and partners including TMC.
During the motorcade, partner agencies and barangays paraded their fire trucks starting at Barangay Daywan up to Barangay Cagdianao where the town's fire substation is located.
This Fire Prevention Month, TMC's Emergency Response Team conducted a Fire Emergency Drill participated by TMC employees and supervised by the Bureau of Fire Protection of Claver.
TMC has been active partner of the community in responding to, and preventing fire incidents. TMC was also the Champion during the National BFP Fire Fighting Olympics in 2015 and 2017 and Regional Ultimate Firefighting Competition in 2019.
