From June 6 to 8, Taganito Mining Corporation (TMC) took significant strides toward environmental protection through a series of impactful initiatives.
These activities, which spanned various locations, highlighted TMC’s dedication to preserving and enhancing the natural environment.
In Brgy. Sabang, Surigao City, TMC launched a Communication, Education, and Public Awareness (CEPA) campaign, alongside the distribution of tables and chairs to support local community needs.
This initiative aimed to foster environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices among residents.
The team also participated in a coastal clean-up and SCUBAsurero event in Sitio Looc, Punta Bilar, where volunteers gathered to remove debris from the coastline, promoting a cleaner and healthier marine ecosystem.
Additionally, in Brgy. Taganito, TMC organized a beach forest planting activity, enriching the coastal area with native vegetation to help restore habitats and combat erosion.
